Hello, All!
I’d like to invite you to think about living your life to its truest and fullest sense of purpose. What brings you joy? What gets you up each day and makes you smile (besides that cup of coffee!)? What brings me real joy is sharing the knowledge I have gained from working in health and wellness for over 25 years. I haven’t finished learning, and I am more than willing to share my “flops” as well as my successes. I have always said I've learned more from my mistakes than my accomplishments. Maybe I just remember the keen pinch of those errors just a bit more.
It is a gift to be able to serve others. Presenting what I’ve learned over the years is a passion of mine. I share so that you will share. What good is the evidence if only a few people know it? We help one another when we disseminate well-established models of wellness and evidence-based practices.
I truly believe we can mitigate crises that lead to tragedy by filling the toolboxes of those who work closely with students with strategies and prevention models to increase student happiness and well-being. Working with students of all ages to foster that well-being can help them realize that they are not alone in their experiences and, by identifying their unique strengths, they can attain the lives they so desire.
I work with coaches, teachers, safety and security personnel, first responders, students, and many others who have the opportunity to identify warning signs and who can throw out a lifeline to those who are affected by anxiety, depression, anger, sadness, and loneliness.
I am dedicated to service and mentorship. Helping others realize they have the ability to help themselves and that one's own self-care is a vital first step to helping anyone else is my heartfelt purpose.
I'd love to continue the conversation with you. Let's chat!
